We can construct customised raised garden boxes to meet your needs. All boxes are made using new 200 x 50 mm thick timber and are braced at each corner. The treated pine timber used, either CCA or Micropro Sienna, is to a maximum H4 level, which means that it can be in contact with soil, even partly buried without significant deterioration over time and is resistant to rot and termites. The Red Gum* sleepers are durable and long lasting in harsh weather conditions, as well as termite and insect resistant. Micropro Sienna Pine Sleeper is an advanced non-arsenic based preservative formulation. Recommended if it is intended to grow vegetables within the garden box.
Treated Pine Countersunk Head Screws are used in the construction of the boxes. These screws have a coating for use in treated timber, and are designed to outperform galvanised coated screws.
We can also insert a liner within the box. The lining we use is 500um black poly dampcourse plascourse. This is an optional extra.
We can provide you with a quote if you simply email us the dimensions of the box required. Please note that the height needs to be in multiples of 20cm.
* The availability of quality red gum sleepers can be problematic.
